Editorial policy - how our content is written and reviewed
Insolvency content influences decisions with legal and financial consequences, so this page sets out the standards every guide on this site is held to.
Review by licensed practitioners
Every advice page on InsolvencySupport.co.uk is reviewed by one of our ICAEW-licensed insolvency practitioners before publication, and the reviewing practitioner is named on the page.
Reviews check legal accuracy, current figures and thresholds, and - just as importantly - balance: pages must present all realistic options, including the ones that don't involve instructing us.
Information, not advice
Our guides explain how insolvency works in general; they cannot know your company's facts, and nothing on this site constitutes advice - every page says so, and means it.
The pattern we follow throughout: hedged language where outcomes depend on circumstances, no promised outcomes, and a consistent prompt to take licensed advice on your specific position.
Keeping content current
Insolvency law, statutory caps, and HMRC practice change; pages are reviewed periodically and updated when the law moves, and where a page states figures, they are indicative and dated by that review cycle.
If you spot something out of date, tell us on 0333 023 5090 or via our contact page - corrections are made promptly.
Who is responsible
Editorial responsibility sits with Xeinadin Corporate Recovery Limited, and professional responsibility for reviewed content sits with the named ICAEW-licensed practitioner - our regulation page explains the framework both operate under.
